MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Launch Confirmed: 2024 MediaTek Dimensity Flagship Chip Launch Conference Will Be Held On October 9th
Since the past few months, the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset has been making its appearance in numerous headlines due to various reports and rumors. It was expected that the company would launch this upcoming chipset in October but the launch date was not known. But that is not the case anymore.
MediaTek has today officially announced that the 2024 MediaTek Dimensity Flagship Chip launch conference will take place on 9th October at 10:30.
At this particular conference, the company is said to introduce its highly anticipated MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. This new chipset will come with AI NPU.
Other details are yet not disclosed, but if reports are to be believed the chipset may comprise of one 3.63Gz Cortex-X925 core, three 2.80Gz Cortex-X4 cores, and four 2.10Gz Cortex-A725 cores. It is said to be paired with Mali-925-Immortalis MC12 PU. It was also recently tipped that the GPU performance of Dimensity 9400 is 86% higher than the Apple A18 Pro chipset and 41% higher than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It is also said that this upcoming chipset could offer 30% higher performance compared to its predecessor Dimensity 9300 SoC.
The exact details and features will only be known after the official launch of MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The upcoming Vivo X200 series and Oppo Find X8 series are said to include devices powered by this all-new chipset.
