Xbox has marketed these new offerings with a retro-style trailer, nodding to the popularity of transparent electronics in the early 2000s. The company appears to be capitalising on nostalgia while offering modern features in its controller range.

The Design Lab options are already available for customisation and purchase, allowing customers to create their own unique transparent Elite controllers.
