Realme GT 6 Receives RealmeUI 14.1.0.181 Update in China: Adds Music Streaming, Improves Gaming

Realme has begun rolling out a new software update for the Realme GT 6 in China. The update, version 14.1.0.181 of Realme UI based on Android 14, introduces several new features and optimizations across various aspects of the phone’s software.

Changelog

  1. System Additions:
    • A new music streaming cloud function has been added.
    • The Realme app has been included in the update.
    • A new “Charging Reminder Sound” switch has been introduced.
  2. User Interface Changes:
    • The facial settings menu has been optimized.
    • The “Installation and SMS deduction verification” switch has been removed.
  3. Gaming Improvements:
    • General game performance has been optimized.
    • Issues with the Peace Elite game have been addressed, including camera lag in floating windows.
    • A problem where some games defaulted to 60 FPS when refresh rate was not manually set has been fixed.
  4. Camera Updates:
    • Post-production effects for indoor photography have been optimized.
  5. Security Enhancements:
    • The Android security patch has been updated to September 2024.

Update Rollout:

Realme states that the update will be gradually rolled out to users in China. The company estimates it will take 1 to 2 weeks for the update to reach all users, as it progresses from an initial grayscale release to a full push.

Users are advised to check for the update manually in their system settings and install it when available to experience the new features and improvements.
