Xiaomi 15 Ultra Rear Camera and Back Panel Details Tipped Ahead of Expected Launch Date

Following the recent appearance on the EEC certification platform, more details about the upcoming flagship Xiaomi 15 Ultra has come out. The update shared by a known tipster on the Weibo platform has pointed to the rear camera and back panel details of the smartphone.

This recent update comes from the Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu and in his Weibo post, he notes that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra flagship is expected to come out with a four-camera architecture incorporating a new main camera and a new telephoto lens. He also adds that the telephoto lens may be a 200MP camera with great capability. Regarding the back panel material, plain leather, glass, and ceramic variants can be expected as per the tipster.

Looking at the other recent updates about the upcoming smartphone, we had spotted the Xiaomi 15 Ultra on the European EEC certification and IMEI databases. From the model numbers of the device, it is likely that the Xiaomi 15 Ultra may hit the market in the month of January 2025. The tipster Smart Pikachu has again reiterated this in his Weibo update. According to the model numbers and the appearance on the mentioned databases, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra launch can be expected in the Chinese, Global, Indian, and European markets.

In related news, the Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi has already officially announced the launch date for its 15 Series in China. The launch will take place on the 23rd of October 2025, and the vanilla Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Pro models are said to break its cover this month. Along with this, Xiaomi has also officially confirmed that the soon-to-be-launched flagships will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will run on the next Xiaomi HyperOS 2.0 custom skin.
