Samsung’s One UI 7 Beta to Come Out Only by End of the Year; Official Version Next Year with the Galaxy S25 Series

Samsung at the SDC24 event had a sneak peek into its much-awaited One UI 7 custom skin based on the next Android 15 operating system and as expected, the beta update for developers will only be coming out by the end of this year. Subsequently, another update has also pointed out that the official version won’t be released until 2025.

One UI 7 Beta for Developers to Release by the End of this Year

As already known, Google’s Android 15 has reached platform stability with the third beta update and was pushed to AOSP at the beginning of last month, in September 2024. While Samsung had been silent on bringing out the beta update for its One UI 7 custom skin based on Android 15, at least a few might have expected some sort of positive update at the recently conducted SDC24 event.

While Samsung had announced a timeline for the release of One UI 7 beta, it is unfortunate to acknowledge the fact that it will indeed be delayed. As reported, Samsung will only be making the One UI 7 beta available to developers by the end of this year, which means an open beta update for the general public will probably be even delayed longer.

Additionally, the company has assured users that One UI 7 will be offering them a simple, impactful, and emotive design, along with the seamless integration of more Galaxy AI features into their daily life activities.

Samsung previewed a sneak peek of One UI 7 at SDC24, highlighting its new UX focused on simple, impactful, and emotive design alongside more ways to seamlessly integrate Galaxy AI features into daily activities. According to the latest update, the official version of the One UI 7 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating skin won’t be coming out until next year, 2025, and it is suggested to come out with the next Galaxy S25 series devices.
