Upcoming OPPO Find X8 Series Smartphones Spec Sheet Revealed Ahead of Scheduled China Debut
OPPO’s latest flagship Find X8 series will debut soon in the Chinese market and as the official launch date nears, the spec sheet of two of the upcoming smartphones have been leaked online. The leaked specs point out that OPPO’s Find X8 series will be a strong competitor for Vivo’s X200 series.

Find X8 – Revealed Specs
Firstly speaking about the vanilla Find X8 smartphone, it is revealed to feature a 6.59″ display screen, and the device is pointed out to have the industry’s narrowest symmetrical bezels. A peak brightness rate of 4500 nits, 2160Hz advanced PWM dimming, Rheinland Intelligent Protection 4.0, and wet hand touch are also supported display specs.
Its thickness and weight are noted as 7.85 mm and 192 gm respectively. The device will also be IP68 & IP69-level dust-and-water-proof, and will have an infrared x-axis linear motor. The processor as confirmed will be the Dimensity 9400 chipset. Many AI features will also be part of the device,
Coming to the cameras, the front camera can be an IMX615 lens (32MP), and at the rear, three camera sensors is revealed to be present – LYT700 (50MP, wide angle), LYT600(50MP, periscope telephoto, 3x zoom), and JN5(50MP, ultrawide). Dolby Vision is also said to be supported at all focal lengths. HASSELBLAD portraits and AI telephoto ultra clear live photos are other camera features.
Regarding the battery, 5630 mAh battery backup with 80W wired and 50W wireless fast charging features have been revealed. Also, the 80W fast charging feature will let the device fully recharge in just 48 minutes.
16GB/256GB, 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, and 16GB/1TB are the listed storage variants, and customers can expect Black and White color choices for the device.
Find X8 Pro – Revealed Specs
Now about the Find X8 Pro, it is suggested to have a 6.78″ larger BOE display with 4500 nits brightness, 2160Hz high frequency PWM dimming, Rheinland Intelligent Protection 4.0, and wet hand touch. It is expected to weigh 215 gm, and be 8.24 mm thin. To add, IP68 & IP69 rated dust and water proof body, front and rear crystal shield glass, and infrared x-axis linear motor are also present.
The processor will be the same Dimensity 9400 chipset, accompanied by many AI capabilities and features.
At the rear, the Find X8 Pro seems to have four camera sensors – LYT800(50MP, wide angle), LYT600(50MP, periscope telephot0, 3x zoom), IMX858(50MP, periscope telephoto, 6x zoom), and JN5(ultrawide). The front camera again will be the IMX615 (32MP) camera. HASSELBLAD Portrait, Quick Start Capture button, and ultra clear live photos are some other listed camera specs.
A 5910 mAh comparatively larger battery will be backed within the device, along with the same 80W wired and 50W wireless charging features. In 55 minutes, users will also be able to fully recharge the device with the 80W wired fast charging feature.
Four storage models – 12GB/512GB, 16GB/512GB, 16GB/1TB, and 16GB/1TB Satellite Edition will be available. It has also been mentioned that the Satellite Edition model will tentatively be available only online.
The official launch of the OPPO Find X8 series will be taking place on the 24th of October 2024 in China and with its launch, we’ll be able to confirm more about the upcoming smartphones. Both the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro smartphones will also be hitting the Indian shores later, and three storage models will be introduced for Indian customers.
