Honor Debuts its X60 and X60 Pro Smartphones in China; New Pad X9 Tablet with a Different Processor Also Unveiled

Honor has now introduced two new smartphone devices to its X60 series, following the X60i launch of July 2024. Along with the latest X60 series smartphones, the brand has also unveiled the Pad X9 tablet with a different processor.

Honor X60

The Honor X60 smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7025 Ultra (6 nm) chipset, integrated with the IMG BXM-8-256 GPU, and runs on the Magic OS 8 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system. It comes in four storage options – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.

It has a TFT LCD display screen, with a screen size of 6.8″, resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, and a refresh rate of 120Hz. A 108MP (wide) single camera unit at the rear, and a front-facing camera of 8MP (wide) have been given. On the battery side, the device packs a 5800 mAh large battery, and supports 35W wired and 5W reverse wired charging features.

Other key specs of the device include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C 2.0, OTG, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, ten-sided anti-fall waterproof and wear-resistant body, ultra-clear 100 million pixels AI imaging, AI smart assistant, 7.9 mm thickness, and 189 gm weight.

The four storage variants are priced at CNY 1199(8GB/128GB), CNY 1399(8GB/256GB), CNY 1599(12GB/256GB), and CNY 1799(12GB/512GB), and three color choices are available for the device – Elegant Black, Haihuqing(Green), and Moon Shadow White.

Honor X60 Pro

Honor’s X60 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (4 nm) chipset, and has the Adreno 710 GPU. It comes with the Android 14 based Magic OS 8 custom skin out of the box. The device offers four storage variants – 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.

For its display, it features an AMOLED display panel, with 6.78″ screen size, 1224 x 2700 pixels resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate support. A 108MP (wide) primary camera and 8MP (wide) selfie camera are also present. The device is also backed with a 6600 mAh (Si/C) battery, and has 66W wired and 5W reverse wired fast charge supports.

5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C 2.0, OTG, under-display optical fingerprint scanner, ten-sided anti-fall waterproof and wear-resistant body, ultra-clear 100-megapixel AI imaging, two-way Beidou satellite SMS, all-weather Honor Oasis Eye Protection, dual speakers with stereo sound field, 8 mm thickness, and 188 gm weight are its other specs.

Honor X60 Pro - Key Specs

The 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB storage models of the smartphone have price tags of CNY 1499, CNY 1699, CNY 1999, and CNY 2299 respectively. Burning Orange, Elegant Black, Sky Blue, and Basalt Gray are the available color options.

Honor Pad X9 (Snapdragon 680 Processor Model)

Regarding the Pad X9 tablet of Honor, it was debuted in the month of July and was made available in many global markets including India, and the now newly released Pad X9 tablet has a different processor onboard. Yes, the Pad X9 tablet that has been released now in China features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 (6nm) processor and has the MagicOS 8.0 custom skin based on Android 14.

Other key specifications of the tablet are the 11″ LCD 1920 x 1200 pixels 400 nits high refresh-rate eye-protection display, 5MP main camera and 5MP selfie camera, 8300 mAh battery, 80 days long standby, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, global learning space, all-metal body, 7.25 mm thickness, and 495 gm weight.

Honor Pad X9 (New Chip) - Key Specs

Regarding the price and availability, three storage models are available – 6GB/128GB for CNY 799(discounted price from CNY 899), 8GB/128GB for CNY 1099, and 8GB/256GB for CNY 1299, and customers can get the device in Starry Gray and Azure (Green) colors.

 

All the latest three Honor devices are available for purchase now in China, and the shipping is expected to begin from the 25th of October 2024, this month.
