OnePlus 13 Rear Panel Image Revealed with Slight Design Changes; Official Launch to Happen Next Week in China
We have by far come across a lot of updates concerning the upcoming OnePlus 13 device and now, what seems to be the rear panel image of the smartphone has been shared. At one glance, the OnePlus 13 looks similar to its predecessor, however, there are some notable changes in the design. A teaser image of the OnePlus 13 smartphone has also been shared, revealing of its debut next week in China.

OnePlus 13 – Revealed Rear Panel Image
This update originally comes from the tipster Digital Chat Station who has shared the image via the Weibo platform, and the image reveals the possible OnePlus 13 device in a similar ‘Silky Black’ color just like its predecessor. The circular rear camera module has been retained, along with the four circular units, but with certain changes.
Three of the four circular units carry camera sensors, while the last one has the LED flashlight. Do note that the OnePlus 12 has a comparatively smaller LED flash and the fourth circular unit also features a sensor within it along with the LED flash. Another notable change is the absence of the grille that expands from the camera module to the right side panel. This time instead, we can expect a thin linear line that moves from the right of the camera module to the device’s left side panel. Also, the HASSELBLAD branding from inside the camera module has been brought out to the right of the rear panel and placed above the linear line. The alert slider can be seen on the left side panel, just like before.
Other than the Black color variant, there is also a White color variant of the OnePlus 13 (similar to the Glacial White color variant of OnePlus 12) now being shared online. There is an OPPO device that can be spotted, and this is likely the Find X8 smartphone.
Speaking of other recent updates, Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, ColorOS 5 (in China), BOE X2 8T LTPO AMOLED quad-curved 2K display, 50MP triple rear camera unit, 6000 mAh battery, 100W wired fast charging, and 50W magnetic wireless fast charging are some of its expected/revealed specifications.
OnePlus 13 – Launching Next Week
Coming to the official launch, while the launch date still remains unknown, the teaser image mentions the tagline – ‘Strength cannot be hidden, See you next week’ (translated). This means, we will get to see the OnePlus 13 debut in China this month itself, and it is now official. Most likely, after the launch of Qualcomm’s flagship chip, OnePlus would be announcing the launch date.
Following the 3C certification and along with the TAF Fast Charging listing, the OnePlus 13 global model was also spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification platform. Its global launch was there by confirmed, and it is said to take place either in December 2024 or January 2025.
