Synology Reports 600% Business Growth in India, Unveils First Enterprise Solution Blueprint
Synology has reported a sixfold increase in its business sector revenue in India and introduced its enterprise-level application blueprint. The company’s total revenue has increased by 350% since 2021.
At an event in Mumbai on October 22nd, 2024, Synology announced new products and software updates. These include ActiveProtect appliances for backup, a scale-out storage solution, and surveillance systems.
Michael Chang, Synology’s APAC Sales Head, attributed the growth to increased demand in AI, IOT, and digital transformation, noting particular activity in government, manufacturing, and media sectors.
Product Features
The ActiveProtect series offers protection for up to 2,500 multi-server environments across multiple sites, with data immutability and retention policies for ransomware protection.
Russell Chen, Country Manager of the SAARC Region at Synology, said, “The ActiveProtect series is highly suited for the Indian market, with its focus on data recovery and immutability, making it a reliable tool for IT to ensure data security. Additionally, we assure the multi-site friendly system will align well with India’s business structure.”

The C2 Surveillance Station (regionally restricted) features:
- Cloud-based surveillance
- Edge AI
- Multi-layer encryption
- Remote monitoring capabilities
The company has added GenAI features to its Office Suite.
