iQOO 13 Launches in China with Snapdragon 8 Elite, 144Hz AMOLED Display, 120W Charging, and Triple 50MP Cameras; Starting at 3999 Yuan
The much-awaited iQOO 13 has finally been launched in its home country today. Being the second Snapdragon 8 Elite smartphone that has been launched following the launch of the Xiaomi 15 series. Also, in the news is that iQOO will also be launching this smartphone in the Indian market as well.

The device features a 6.82-inch AMOLED display with a 19.8:9 aspect ratio and 93.87% screen-to-body ratio. The screen offers a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels, supporting 1.07 billion colors with P3 color gamut and HDR technology. It delivers a contrast ratio of 8000000:1 and supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz with capacitive multi-touch functionality.iQOO has added a new design element called “Monster Halo.” This new customizable lighting system surrounds the camera module and offers 72 different lighting effects. The system is designed to adapt dynamically to gaming scenarios, allowing users to personalize their device’s appearance.
Under the hood, the iQOO 13 utilizes the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite, featuring a 64-bit octa-core processor with frequencies of 4.32GHz for two cores and 3.53GHz for six cores. Built on a 3nm process, the processor works alongside an Adreno 830 GPU. Memory configurations include 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X Ultra Quad Channel RAM with UFS 4.0 storage variants of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB.
Additionally, the phone also features iQoo’s Q2 gaming chip for an enhanced gaming experience. Thanks to the Q2 chip, the phone supports “VAA Anti-Flicker” technology that will help reduce flickering and offer a smooth gaming experience. The company also says that the chip supports 2K PC-grade resolution scaling.
The camera system features a triple 50-megapixel setup with an ultra-sensitive VCS bionic flagship main camera (f/1.88), a telephoto lens (f/1.85), and an ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.0). All three rear cameras support AF and video image stabilization, with the main camera featuring OIS. The system supports up to 30x digital zoom and includes a CMOS sensor. The front camera is a 32-megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture. Video capabilities include 8K recording from the rear cameras and 1080P slow-motion. The device offers extensive shooting modes including night scene, portrait, micro-movie, high pixel, panorama, ultra-clear document, time-lapse photography, super moon, starry sky, tilt-shift, professional photo/video, 3D camera (3D photo, 3D video), fisheye, super macro, and sports modes.

The rated capacity is 2990mAh (7.68V), equivalent to 5980mAh (3.84V), with rated energy of 22.97Wh. The device supports 120W ultra-fast flash charging with OTG reverse charging. Theoretical standby times reach 21.3 days for 4G single-card use and 22.6 hours for 4G VoLTE talk time.
Network capabilities are extensive, supporting dual nano SIM with SA/NSA dual-mode 5G. The iQOO 13’s pricing structure in China is: 12GB + 256GB at 3999 yuan (USD 561), 16GB + 256GB at 4299 yuan (USD 604), 12GB + 512GB at 4499 yuan (USD 631), 16GB + 512GB at 4699 yuan (USD 659), and 16GB + 1TB at 5199 yuan (USD 730). The device comes in four distinct colors: Legendary Edition, Nardo Grey, Isle of Man, and Track Edition. The Track Edition measures 163.37mm in height, 76.71mm in width, and 7.99mm in thickness, weighing 207g.
