KTM 990 Duke R With New Upgrades Officially Unveiled
Yesterday KTM officially unveiled its all-new 990 Duke R 2025 model. This new model arrives with various improvements and upgrades over the current model to enhance user experience. Let’s dive in to know all the details.
KTM 990 Duke R: Features
The bike features a fully adjustable WP APEX front suspension, including an upgraded stiffer 48mm fork and the rear with WP APEX shock, to the adjustable handlebars and levers. It arrives with a sport-focused setup. The bike is equipped with a 947cc engine just like the KTM 990 Duke but the R version features a parallel twin LC8c motor that produces additional horsepower (128hp) and torque (103Nm). The rev limit is 10,500 rpm.
The bike is designed to feel as compact as it can be and includes a 15mm higher seat height. It is said to be lightweight, agile, performance-focused mid-class Naked. It is built with a completely new tubular frame with torsional stiffness and an integrated swingarm pivot point. An aluminum diecast subframe integrates the airbox and air intakes under the seat. It weighs 190kg.
The braking system includes a Brembo MCS pump, complemented by larger discs (320 mm) while Michelin Power Cup 2 tires are mounted on orange rims. It sports an 8.8 inch TFT touchscreen whereas the electronic equipment includes a PS navigation system, customizable riding modes, and advanced ABS features
KTM 990 Duke R is accompanied by various power parts like- a protective outdoor cover, passenger seat cover, bike ramp, vent hose, rear bag, funnel, inner bag, cable tie, smartphone universal adapter, plug, and crash bung kit.
