Honor’s Magic 7 RSR Smartphone Camera Specs Tipped Along with Details of an Upcoming GT Model

Honor debuted its latest Magic 7 and Magic 7 Pro devices late last month in the Chinese market and a third smartphone is already revealed to soon join the series. The camera specs of this soon-to-be-launched device have been tipped by a Chinese tipster, along with some key details regarding one of the brand’s upcoming GT models.

Here’s more about it.

Honor Magic 7 RSR – Tipped Camera Specs

At last month’s Magic 7 series product launch conference itself, Honor had unveiled its Magic 7 RSR smartphone and it was understood that the device will be arriving in the month of December 2024 with a similar design language when compared to its predecessor, featuring the same Flyline Porsche design and a hexagonal-shaped projected camera module, but with a different camera lens arrangement. It will sport a triple camera unit itself, and will have two color variants – Provence Purple and Agate Gray.

Coming to tipster Digital Chat Station’s Weibo update, the Magic 7 RSR is suggested to equip a 50MP primary camera with variable aperture support, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens. Do note, that the Magic 7 Pro device also has a 50MP main and 200MP periscope telephoto cameras. Probably, the third camera would likely be an ultrawide lens, and it is possible that the Magic 7 RSR might feature a 50MP ultrawide camera similar to the latest Magic 7 Pro device.

Honor 90 GT Successor?

Now, coming to the upcoming Honor GT model, this device is pointed out to compete with Redmi’s and iQOO’s devices in terms of performance, and is tipped to come with specs like a 1.5K pure straight display screen, a larger battery, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Previously, Honor launched two GT smartphone models – the 90 GT with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in December 2023 and X50 GT with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in January 2024. Considering the launch time frames and the processors, this upcoming GT model could be the successor of Honor’s 90 GT, and since its a sub-flagship model, the device is expected to compete with the Redmi K80 series and iQOO Neo 10 series smartphones.

Stay tuned for more updates.
