Wipro Limited (NYSE: WIT, BSE: 507685, NSE: WIPRO) has collaborated with FORVIA, the seventh-largest automotive technology supplier globally, to optimize its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) applications.
The project leverages Wipro Engineering Edge’s Cloud Car Solution, specifically its microservices and vehicle container architecture components, to enhance FORVIA’s vehicle safety applications. A key feature includes FORVIA’s surround-view technology, which creates a 3D perspective by combining exterior camera views for safer parking.
The transformation has made FORVIA’s ADAS applications hardware-independent and reduced maintenance costs. The new service-oriented microservice architecture has lowered software development lifecycle costs and allows FORVIA to market ADAS features independently or combine them with third-party functions.

The deal was signed in Q1 FY24.
