Samsung India Extends its One-Time Free Screen Replacement Benefit for Older Galaxy S-Series Models Affected by Green Line

Green line issues might be the biggest concern for most OLED display smartphone users today and many would cross their fingers during software updates. Affected users however have no other options other than replacing their phone’s display, and if the warranty period is over, a hefty amount goes out of their pockets.

Samsung India has now extended its one-time free screen replacement benefit that was made available to selected older Galaxy S-series devices, which were affected by the notorious green line issue. Do note that it has only been extended for a limited period, and with the applicable terms and conditions.

Samsung’s One-Time Free Screen Replacement Benefit for Older Galaxy S-Series Users

This one-time free screen replacement benefit that Samsung India has announced is only for Galaxy S21 (SM-G991B), Galaxy S21+ (SM-G996B), Galaxy S21 Ultra (SM-G998B), Galaxy S21 FE 5G (SM-G990B/E), and Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908E) models, and it will be available till the 31st of December 2024 as per the new update. This one-time free screen replacement benefit was previously announced in April 2024, and then in July 2024 for the mentioned models, and has been extended from the last end date – 30th September 2024.

Some of the terms and conditions that should be followed in order to be eligible for the benefit are:

• The device must not have any sorts of physical damage or water damage.
• The customer must be the first owner of the device.
• The original invoice must be presented.
