Oppo Brings Magic to Mobile with Oppo Reno 12F 5G Harry Potter Special Edition

Following the Oppo Reno 12F 5G‘s launch in Thailand this June and its 4G variant in July, Oppo has now released a Harry Potter Special Edition of the smartphone. The device has been spotted on a Peruvian telecom operator’s website, priced at 1,599 Sol (Approx. $419.94), and comes in a single storage configuration of 256GB.

The new variant comes in special packaging designed like a spell book and includes themed accessories: a magic wand-styled stylus, a case with a Golden Snitch keychain, and a Deathly Hallows-inspired SIM ejector pin. Each phone also includes a Hogwarts-themed welcome letter and comes with the school’s emblem engraved on the device.

The phone maintains all technical specifications of the original Reno 12F 5G. It features a triple camera system with a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth sensor, alongside a 32MP front camera for selfies.

Inside, you’ll find a Mediatek Dimensity 6300 processor paired with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, expandable up to 2TB. The device sports a 6.67-inch display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution and includes both face and fingerprint recognition for security.

The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging support. It comes with AI camera features including AI Eraser for removing unwanted objects from photos and AI Studio for creating themed portraits.

This special edition offers Harry Potter fans a unique way to combine their interest in the series with a fully-featured smartphone, without compromising on the device’s core functionality.
