Redmi K80 Pro – Shared Performance Test Results and Key Specifications

As per the tipster’s latest Weibo update, the soon-to-be-unveiled Redmi K80 Pro smartphone (with reference to its performance test) is pointed out to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, featuring up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM (8533Mbps) and up to 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. On the Geekbench platform, 3K (3050 points) single-core and 9.2K (9216 points) multi-core scores have been attained by the device. It also achieved Steel Nomad Light running score of 2.44K (2441 points), exhibiting an amazing theoretical performance.

The built-in independent graphics D1 chip that was recently teased supports 3 times super frame concurrency, and is joined by the Rage/Fury Engine 4.0. In the ‘Original God’ full high-definition conventional test, the Redmi K80 series pro model recorded a 59.9 FPS game frame number and power consumption was noted as 4.22W.

Coming to the one-hour super frame test, 40.7 x 3 = 122.1 FPS was recorded, with corresponding power consumption of 4.16W. The ‘Star Dome Railway’ frame number is 40.4 x 3 = 121.2 FPS and power consumption is 3.58W. Thus, the highest extreme picture quality on the device is 120FPS, with power consumption of 3W, meaning the device has super first-level energy efficient performance. The teased 5400mm² 3D dual-loop cooling system also helps in cooling down the device within a short time, offering a stable performance.

In total, the Redmi K80 Pro’s gaming performance is at its peak, making it the strongest straight phone. Additionally, the tipster also notes that it has a Pengpai T1S signal enhancement chip, ultrasonic (under-display) fingerprint scanner, IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, 6000 mAh battery backup, 120W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging.

The latest Redmi K80 series will debut on the 27th of November 2024 in the Chinese market and as we near it, more and more updates concerning the two upcoming devices can be expected. Stay tuned.
