OnePlus Ace 5 Smartphone Won’t Likely Feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version: Comments Chinese Tipster

The OnePlus Ace 5 smartphone is also among the many sub-flagship devices that are and expected to debut this month and next month, and we have already come across a few updates concerning the device. Now, it has been pointed out by a Chinese tipster that it may not be featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version.

Here’s more about it.

OnePlus Ace 5 – No Leading Version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3?

OnePlus’ Ace 5 smartphone has already been tipped to arrive with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and at least some of us would have expected the leading version on it. Well, tipster Digital Chat Station has commented on such a user’s query by stating that the upcoming Ace 5 device of OnePlus would not be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version and is not over-clocked. This means, the normal or standard Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip can be expected in it.

Along with this, another Weibo user has commented ‘Codename: Venom’. While it is still unclear whether this is the OnePlus Ace 5 codename or not, in a related news, ICE UNIVERSE in a X/Twitter post shared that OPPO is working on a new gaming technology called ‘Venom’, and it is believed to be used in the ‘next generation OnePlus Ace product’ (~ OnePlus Ace 5). Improved temperature control and lower consumption will be offered with this technology, enabling users to have a better gaming experience.

Speaking of some of the other updates concerning the Ace 5 device, it is said to retain the same circular camera module that we have seen on OnePlus smartphones and is likely to have the best texture material for its rear panel. Apart from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, other expected specs include a 6.78″ OLED flat display with 1.5K resolution, 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, 6xxxx mAh (maybe 6300± mAh) battery, and 100W wired fast charge support.

Stay tuned for more updates.
