Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active and Straps Announced in Global Market: Listed on Official Website

The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Xiaomi, has now announced its latest Smart Band 9 Active along with its straps in the global market. The two have been listed on the brand’s official global website, revealing key specifications.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active features a 1.47″ large TFT display screen with an enhanced viewing experience. For an ultra smooth performance involving operations and swiping, a 60Hz refresh rate is supported, as well as a new improved chip. It also has an ultra slim body of 9.99mm and an imperceptible weight of 16.5gm. The replaceable frames will also enable users to switch straps anywhere anytime very seamlessly. Moreover, it is 5ATM water resistant.

Coming to the health and sports trackers on it, an all-day automatic health and fitness monitor is present on the device, equipped with a light path sensor and fully optimized algorithm. All-day heart rate monitoring and all-day blood oxygen saturation monitoring are part of this. A scientific sleep monitor, stress measurement, and women’s health management are additional health features. 50 sports modes with professional algorithm is also there on the fitness band.

Events management, music controlling, and weather updates are further features that users will be able to make use of. Alarm, timer, stopwatch, flashlight, find phone, and camera supports are also offered. To add, it will be compatible with devices running on Android 8.0 and above/iOS 12.0 and above

Regarding the battery, a larger battery and a new low-power chip is backed within it, and is capable of offering a battery life of up to 18 days. On heavy usage, up to 9 days battery life is guaranteed. To note, this is a 29% improvement over the previous product.

Speaking of the strap and color options, the strap is made out of soft and skin-friendly material and is available in Pick, Black, Beige White, and Yellow colors. A luminous strap option is also available, which absorbs light in sunlight and glows in dark. Over 100 watch faces can also be selected by users.
