Honor Magic 7 Lite Receives EMVCo Approval For Secure Contactless Payment
Honor Magic 7 Lite recently made its appearance on Google Play Console and GCF databases hinting at the imminent launch of the device. It is said that this device could be the rebranded version of the Honor X9c 5G smartphone.
Honor Magic 7 Lite has now received an EMVCo Letter of Approval for a contactless mobile product. The device appeared with model number BRP-NXIM and approval number MTA_LOA_HODC_05209.
This approval confirms that the smartphone meets the required standards for secure and interoperable contactless transactions. It will run Android 14 out of the box and will also support NFC.
Previous listings of the device revealed that the Honor Magic 7 Lite smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno 619 GPU. It will sport a 1224 x 2700 pixels resolution display with 520 DPI screen density. The device was tested with a 12 GB RAM variant. Magic 7 Lite will be a 5G device.
As the upcoming Magic 7 Lite has made it to these certifications, we may get to see its release soon in the Chinese market and an official update regarding this can be expected in the coming few days.
