Huawei’s Mate X6/Collector Edition, FreeBuds Pro 4, and Q7 Nearlink Wi-Fi Router Unveiled in the Chinese Market
The Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer, Huawei, at its recently held launch conference, unveiled many of its latest devices. Among the many products, the Mate X6/Collector Edition foldable smartphones, FreeBuds Pro 4 earbuds, Q7 Nearlink Wi-Fi router were debuted as well.

The standard and Collector Edition of the Mate X6 foldable almost feature similar specs, however, the latter provides higher 16GB RAM and 512GB/1TB storage, along with triple-network satellite support. Speaking of the price, the Mate X6 standard model starts at CNY 12,999, whereas the Collector Edition has a starting price of CNY 14,999.
FreeBuds Pro 4
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 earbuds device supports high-resolution lossless sound quality featuring the industry’s first 2.3 Mbps lossless transmission and 48kHz/24bit audio source lossless playback. It equips itself with a super-sensory acoustic dual unit speaker and has Kirin A2 chip onboard. DAC Central Sound Master classical sound effect and Yang-Yin Master balanced sound effect are its other notable audio specs.
Speaking more, the 100 dB noise cancellation support helps in offering 2-way silent calling capability. The memory earplugs further provide deep noise reduction. The HarmonyOS NEXT is also present on it, and it is the first TWS headset to feature it. Other key specs include Xiaoyi Xiaoyi voice interaction, Hongmeng Wisdom Translation, ultra-immersive spatial audio, and Star Twinkle precise search.
About its price and availability, it will be offered in Obsidian Black, Snow White, and Spruce Green colors, with a price tag of CNY 1499. The pre-sale for the earbuds have already started and it will be made available on the 4th of December 2024, next month onwards.
Q7 Nearlink Wi-Fi Router
Coming to the Q7 Nearlink Wi-Fi Router, it is a plug and use device which will be suitable for various house types and has Wi-Fi 7 connectivity support. For intelligent Wi-Fi signal optimization, a self-developed AI Lingxiao chip is equipped within the device.
Dual band support, high-performance signal amplifier, hurricane heat dissipation, long-lasting smoothness, built-in StarLight gateway with three connection protocols compatibility (Starlight, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi), Hongmeng Smart Home Network Center, convenient network distribution, visual intelligent diagnosis, and children’s online protection are the other key specs.
Huawei’s Q7 Nearlink Wi-Fi router has been launched at a price point of CNY 1999 and the pre-sale is currently live in China. The availability will start next month, from the 10th of December 2024.
