The automaker Honda has made its debut in the electric scooter industry with two of its new electric scooters- Activa e: and Activa QC1. As per the official announcement, the bookings for these scooters will commence on January 1, 2025, while the pricing details will be announced in January itself. The sale for these scooters will start in Spring 2025.

Honda Activa e:
This electric scooter arrives with a swappable battery system. It is equipped with dual 1.5 kWh batteries and offers a range of 102 km per full charge. A 6 kW electric motor powers the scooter and it can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 7.3 seconds, with a top speed of 80 km/h. There are three riding modes- Econ, Standard, and Sport. It features a dual-tone seat, 12-inch alloy wheels, and a spacious footboard. It also comes with a RoadSync Duo feature that allows users to make phone calls and use navigation functions by connecting a smartphone via Bluetooth. It comes in 5 color options- Pearl shallow blue, Pearl misty white, Pearl serenity blue, Matt foggy silver metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black. The scooter will be available in Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai in the first phase.
Honda QC1
It features 12-inch front alloy wheels, rear-view mirrors, and a sturdy grab rail. A fixed 1.5 kWh battery powers it, and offers a range of up to 80 km on a single charge. The scooter can be charged with a 330W home charger that takes approx. 4.5 hours to charge from 0 to 80%. It comes with an electric motor that provides a peak power of 1.8kW and a top speed of 50 km/h. There are two riding modes- Econ and standard. It includes a 5.0-inch LCD display, a USB Type-C port, and a spacious 26-liter under-seat storage. QC1 comprises drum brakes mounted on a 12-inch front and a 10-inch rear alloy wheel. This scooter comes in 5 color options- Pearl shallow blue, Pearl serenity blue, pearl misty white, pearl nightstar black, and matte foggy silver metallic.
