New Redmi Smartphone Spotted on the European EEC Certification Database
Following the debut and success of its Redmi K80 series sub-flagships in China, a new Redmi-branded smartphone of Xiaomi has made it to the EEC certification platform of Europe. This newly EEC-listed smartphone is expected to launch next year.

Upcoming Redmi Smartphone – EEC Certification
This Redmi smartphone which bears the model number – ‘2502FRA65G’ has been certified by the European EEC authority with the notification number – ‘KZ0000009346’, and its certification will be valid till the 31st of December 2034. Based on its model number (2502), it could be unveiled next year in February 2025, and this is the global model (‘G’) of the Redmi smartphone.
Apart from its EEC listing, nothing more about this Redmi smartphone device is known as of now. However, as the expected launch time frame is close, probably we may be hearing more about the upcoming smartphone in the coming days or weeks.

Xiaomi – Other Recent Official Updates
As mentioned, Xiaomi officially debuted its Redmi K80 series smartphones in its home market very recently along with the Redmi Smart TV X 2025 Series, Redmi Buds 6 Pro, Redmi Watch 5, and many other latest products. The Redmi K80 series also broke the first day sales record of the entire Redmi K-series by exceeding a sale of 660,000 units in a day.
The brand also launched its Redmi A4 5G device in India this month, whereas the Redmi Note 14 5G series India launch is scheduled on 9th December 2024, next month. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ micro site also went live recently on Flipkart.
Also, just a few days back, the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Active was unveiled globally and listed on the Xiaomi official global website, along with its straps.
