Realme 11 Pro Series Receives December 2024 Security Update in China

Realme has begun rolling out a new system update for the Realme 11 Pro and Realme 11 Pro+ devices in China. The update, version 14.0.0.912 (CN01), brings performance optimizations and the latest security improvements to these devices.

The update primarily focuses on enhancing system performance in specific scenarios and improving overall system stability. Additionally, it includes the December 2024 Android security patch, strengthening the devices’ security framework.

As is typical with Realme’s update strategy, the rollout follows a gradual approach. The company has indicated that the complete rollout could take between one to two weeks.

Looking ahead to Android 15, there’s currently no official timeline for its rollout to the Realme 11 Pro series. However, based on the earlier rollout, particularly the Android 14 rollout which reached both Chinese and Global users in February, we might expect a similar timeline for the Android 15 update.

For users encountering any issues with the current update, Realme encourages bug reports through their dedicated feedback area. This helps the company identify and address potential problems more efficiently.

Changelog details:

System Improvements:

  •  Optimize performance in some scenarios and improve system stability

Security Enhancements:

  • Update Android security patch to December 2024 to improve system security

Users are advised to watch for the update notification and install it when available. The gradual rollout approach means some users may receive the update later than others, a strategy designed to maintain system stability and provide an optimal user experience.
