Next Year’s High-Performance Flagship New Phones Tipped With Larger Batteries and Wired Fast Charging, But No Wireless Charging
In the month of October 2024 itself we saw the debut of the latest flagship smartphones from leading Chinese smartphone makers like Vivo, iQOO, OPPO, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Honor. Some new models will also be joining their existing flagship series next year and now, tipster Digital Chat Station via a Weibo post has revealed that the upcoming high performance flagship new phones of next year would probably be coming with larger batteries and wired fast charging capabilities, but with no wireless charging support.

Upcoming High Performance Flagship Phones – 6500 to 7000 mAh± Batteries, 100W Wired Charging, No Wireless Charging?
As mentioned, about two months back, notably we saw the debut of Vivo’s X200 series, iQOO’s 13, OPPO’s Find X8 series, OnePlus’ 13, Xiaomi’s 15 series, and Honor’s Magic 7 series. For Vivo, OPPO, and Xiaomi, it has already been reported that new models are again coming to their flagship series early next year. For Vivo and Xiaomi, we may be seeing the X200 Ultra and 15 Ultra launches, whereas OPPO is said to unveil the Find X8 mini and Find X8 Ultra models. [Recently it was also reported that an ‘OPPO X8 Pad’ is also in works.]
According to the latest update from tipster Digital Chat Station, he notes that the ‘next year’s high-performance flagship phones’ is suggested to have batteries with battery capacities ranging from 6500 mAh to 7000 mAh±, along with a possible 100W wired fast charging feature. However, he adds that these upcoming devices are likely not to have wireless charging support.
While tipster Digital Chat Station hasn’t mentioned the monikers of these high-performance flagship phones, it is believed that he could be talking about the new Ultra models that are coming in the Vivo X200 series, OPPO Find X8 series, and Xiaomi 15 series. But while looking at previous updates, there are certain inconsistencies. More updates which are expected to be shared soon, may bring clarity to the matter. Let’s just wait and stay tuned.
