The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, Huawei, unveiled its flagship Mate 70 series late last month in its home market and now, the Xiaobai battery test results of the Mate 70 Pro+ model have been shared online.

The Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ model features the brand’s own latest Kirin 9020 chip and packs a 5700 mAh silicon battery supporting 100W wired fast charging. It also has a 2832 x 1316 pixels resolution display screen with 120Hz refresh rate. All these factors were taken into consideration while testing the device.
In the 3-hour light battery life test, the device successfully passed with 61% remaining charge. However, in the 6-hour heavy battery life test, the device failed to keep up and had shut down at 5 hours and 20 minutes.
Coming to the charging performance, using the original 100W fast charging adapter, in 10 minutes the device charged to 39% and in 38 minutes, it reached 100% at the front desk. In total, it took 57 minutes for the device to fully charge from 1% to 100%.
To add, in terms of its comparison with other competitor products, the Huawei Mate 70 Pro+ smartphone’s battery life in the Xiaobai tests is lower and the latest device is ranked at 35th and 39th respectively in the 3-hour light and 6-hour heavy battery tests. In the extreme battery test to shut also, the device is positioned at a lower 39th place in ranking.
