Samsung to Add ‘ZXKN’ Animations in One UI 7 Beta

As mentioned, there are some animation issues in the One UI 7 beta 1 version that is currently available to Galaxy S24 series smartphone users and this is with regards to the app opening animation. The beta tester who has pointed this out notes that the ‘ZXKZ’ version feels underwhelming and is rigid. It lacks the needed fluidity and is disappointing when the page unfolds and icons transition into right angles.

As an alternative, this same beta tester has suggested that the ‘ZXKN’ version is comparatively even better, with the app opening animation featuring an unfolding effect with deceleration. This makes it more dynamic and appealing. Moreover, the ‘ZXKN’ animation resembles the lively effects on iOS.

The One UI development team has indeed acknowledged these errors and issues in animation and the suggested ‘ZXKN’ version will be adopted in the future One UI 7 beta versions, making it more smoother with dynamic transition.

Samsung’s One UI 7 beta program is currently live only in six global markets and this includes Korea, Germany, US, UK, India, and Poland. The full official version is set to release in early 2025 with the latest Galaxy S25 series smartphones.
