OPPO Find N5 Foldable Smartphone More New Details Shared by Chinese Tipster

The Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, OPPO, is said to unveil its next foldable smartphone early next year and a few updates regarding the upcoming device have already been shared in the past. Now, a tipster on the Weibo platform has revealed more new features and specifications of the smartphone.

OPPO Find N5 – Tipped Details

As per the new update from tipster Digital Chat Station, OPPO’s Find N5 smartphone appears to be nearing its launch. It is suggested to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as its processor and is likely going to feature specs like wireless charging and 50MP ship-style periscope telephoto camera (3x). The C15 system may also be pre-installed in it and the device would offer a longer battery life. In terms of design, it may have an anti-fall body structure with IPX8 waterproof rating. It is also suggested to be lighter and thinner. Moreover, the tipster adds that the OPPO Find N5 might also be the only Android flagship folding phone that is coming soon.

Looking into previous updates, design-wise the Find N5 is believed to be similar to the previous Find N3 with a folded thickness of 9.x mm. It is also said to be the strongest foldable that is launching in the first half of 2025. Enhanced metal texture, Apple ecology compatibility, Android 15 based ColorOS 15, larger main and cover displays, 2K+ resolution for main display (ultra-flat), 50MP large primary and 50MP ultrawide cameras, 5700 mAh battery (typical), and new zero-crease hinge are the other expected/revealed specs.
