OnePlus has begun rolling out new software updates for its Nord CE 3 lineup in India, with both the Nord CE 3 5G and Nord CE 3 Lite 5G receiving the December 2024 security patch. The updates come as version 14.0.0.1400 for the Nord CE 3 5G and version 14.0.0.1330 for the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G.
Both updates focus primarily on system security improvements through the integration of the December 2024 Android security patch. Following OnePlus’s standard rollout strategy, the updates are being released incrementally, reaching a small percentage of users initially before expanding to more devices in the coming days.
Currently, these updates are exclusive to the Indian market, though they are expected to reach other regions in the near future. Indian users experiencing any issues can report bugs through a dedicated menu accessible by dialing *#800# in the Google Dialer app.
Interestingly, while the Nord CE 4 series has already received their OxygenOS 15 update, the Nord CE 3 series is still running on OxygenOS 14, with users eagerly awaiting their turn for the latest major OS upgrade.
