Alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro Receives CMIIT Certification: Revealed to Support 5.1GHz Wi-Fi Connectivity
Xiaomi, the Chinese leading consumer electronics maker, is believed to soon bring out the successor of the August 2022-released Buds 4 Pro. Yes, an alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro has taken its place in reports and has received the CMIIT certification from China.

Alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro – CMIIT Certification
This alleged Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro TWS earbuds device bears the model number – ‘M2438E1′ and has been certified by the CMIIT authority with approval code – ’24J1166MW019’ and approval certificate number – ‘2024-23368’. It has been listed as a 5.1GHz wireless LAN/Bluetooth device, with a frequency tolerance of ‘≤20ppm;≤20ppm’, frequency range of ”5150-5250MHz; 2400-2483.5MHz, transmit power of ‘≤23dBm(EIRP);≤20dBm(EIRP)’, occupied bandwidth of ‘≤20MHz;≤3MHz’, and spurious emission limit of ‘≤-30dBm;≤-30dBm’.
Moreover, apart from the notable 5.1GHz Wi-Fi connectivity, other new functions and features are also expected on the earbuds.
Regarding its launch, Xiaomi is expected to unveil its 15 Ultra iterative imaging flagship next year in February 2025 and based on reports, the Buds 5 Pro earbuds may also be launched along with the latest smartphone. Better inter-connectivity between the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and other 15 series flagships can thus be expected if this is true.
