This upcoming series was said to be unveiled at the next Galaxy Unpacked event and a recent update revealed that Samsung would likely be conducting its Galaxy Unpacked first event of next year on the 22nd of January 2025. Today a new update regarding the S25 series base storage variant has been shared online.

Tipster @yabhishekhd has exclusively revealed on X platform that the base storage variant of Samsung Galaxy S25 series will come with 12GB RAM which means there will be no 8GB RAM option. In the comment section when a user asked about the base internal storage option starting with 256GB for the series, the tipster replied, “Yes, definitely”.

Galaxy S25 series is expected to include- Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra models and the previous Geekbench listings of these smartphones revealed that these devices were tested with 12GB RAM option.

Apart from the storage options, the upcoming series is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. A recent report also suggested that the Galaxy S25 series is expected to support Qi2 wireless charging with no magnets. Other than this a leaked Galaxy S25+ real-life image interestingly revealed that below the volume rocker and the power button on the right-side panel, there was a button that seemed like a ‘capture button’. This could mean that the upcoming Galaxy S25 series may feature a capture button too, like the previously launched Apple iPhone 16 series models.
