Xiaomi Announces Mini Bluetooth Speaker Special Edition in “Burgandy Red” for Chinese New Year 2025
Xiaomi has unveiled a special edition of its Mini Bluetooth speaker in a festive “Burgandy Red” color, just in time for the Chinese New Year 2025 celebrations. The portable speaker will be available starting December 20th at 10:00 AM (China time) at a special launch price of 199 yuan (approximately $28), marked down from its regular price of 229 yuan.

The speaker boasts a sophisticated 3-unit acoustic setup with symmetrical full-range speakers that deliver 360° omnidirectional sound. One of its standout features is the IP67 dust and water resistance rating, making it an ideal companion for outdoor activities like camping.
Battery life is impressive, with a 2000mAh capacity that charges fully in just 1.8 hours and provides up to 11 hours of playback with the lights turned off. The speaker features a customizable RGB light strip on top that can be adjusted through the Mijia App.
On the connectivity front, it features Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC support, with the latter enabling seamless music relay. The speaker integrates with Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect technology and the Mijia App, allowing users to adjust lighting, and sound effects, and receive OTA upgrades.
The speaker features intuitive controls with various button combinations for different functions, from volume adjustment to stereo pairing. An LED indicator uses white, blue, and orange lights to display different status modes including power, Bluetooth connectivity, and battery level.
The promotional period for this special pricing will run from December 20, 2024, to February 4, 2025, making it an ideal Chinese New Year gift option.
