Samsung’s Upcoming Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy F06, and Galaxy M06 Models Received Nemko Certification; Galaxy A06 5G Also Certified by the BIS Authority

Three new Galaxy smartphone devices from Samsung have now made it to the Nemko certification platform. One among the three has also been spotted on the BIS database of India as well.

Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy F06, and Galaxy M06 – Nemko Certification

It is the next Galaxy A0x series, Galaxy F0x series, and Galaxy M0x series models that have appeared on the Nemko certification platform. The A06 5G model carries the model numbers – ‘SM-A066B’, ‘SM-A066B/DS’, ‘SM-A066M’, ‘SM-A066M/DS’, and ‘SM-A066E/DS’. On the other hand, the Galaxy F06 and Galaxy M06 devices bear respective model numbers of ‘SM-E066B/DS’ and ‘SM-M066B/DS’.

These new Galaxy budget devices have received the Nemko certification with the certificate number – ‘NO132998’ and have been categorized under the ‘Smart Phone’ section. Furthermore, the certification also points out that the upcoming smartphones would possibly feature a USB Type-C charging port. Also, ‘DS’ in the model numbers suggest dual SIM support on the models.

Galaxy A06 5G – BIS Certification

The Galaxy A06 5G model with model number – ‘SM-A066B/DS’ has been certified by the BIS authority of India. It has received the grant or inclusion on to the BIS database as of on the 17th of December 2024.

Just to add, the Galaxy A06 5G is reportedly going to be the very first 5G supported smartphone in the Galaxy A0x series (via the GSMA IMEI listings), marking Samsung’s move to introduce 5G network connectivity too to its affordable and budget-friendly range of smartphones.

Apart from these mentioned details, there are no other details or information known about the upcoming Galaxy A06 5G, Galaxy F06, and Galaxy M06 smartphone models. We’ll probably have to wait until more updates are shared, which will probably reveal more about these devices. Stay tuned.
