OPPO’s Watch X2 Series Models Spotted on TUV Rheinland, SIRIM, and 3C Databases; Enco X3s Earbuds Also Listed on SIRIM

The Chinese consumer electronics maker, OPPO, is reportedly going to unveil three smartwatches this time in its Watch X2 series and two models have now been spotted on certification platforms. The likely global model has made it to the TUV Rheinland and SIRIM certification databases, whereas the possible Chinese variant has appeared on the 3C database. Along with this, the brand’s Enco X3s earbuds has also been certified by the SIRIM authority.

Here’s more about it.

Watch X2 Series – TUV Rheinland, SIRIM, 3C Certifications; Enco X3s – SIRIM Certification

On the TUV Rheinland and SIRIM certification databases, the Watch X2 series model that has been listed bears the model number of ‘OWWE251’. It has been certified by the TUV Rheinland authority with the certification number of ‘JPTUV-166940’. The database also points out that it will pack a 631 mAh (2.46 Wh) rechargeable lithium ion battery too within it, supporting 10W wired fast charging feature.

In comparison to the previous Watch X which packed a 500 mAh battery and supported 10 minutes = 24 hours fast charging, the upcoming device is suggested to have a larger battery backup and a faster charging feature.

Coming to the SIRIM database, it has been listed with the type approval code of ‘RDCX/95K/0125/S(24-5592)’, with certification validity till the 5th of January 2030. Moreover, its moniker has been mentioned on the database as ‘OPPO Watch X2’. Additionally, we are also able to spot OPPO’s Enco X3s earbuds with the model number of ‘ETED1’ on the same certification platform as well, certified with the type approval code of ‘RFFS/31L/0125/S(24-5590)’ and having certification validity till the 5th of January 2030.

The Watch X2 series model that has been certified by the 3C authority of China carries the model number of ‘OWW251’ and has received the certification with the certificate number of ‘2024011606741806’. Its 3C certification will be valid till the 22nd of July 2029. Furthermore, the 10W fast charge capability has again been pointed out via the 3C database as well, along with 4G connectivity (eSIM).

Speaking more, the OPPO Watch X2 series is said to offer the Watch X2, Watch X2 (46mm), and Watch X2 Pro models this time as per reports. From what it seems, the ‘OWWE251’ and ‘OWW251’ model numbers may possibly be for the global and Chinese variants. To add, the latter has also been certified by China’s MIIT and TENAA authorities as well. Few of the other revealed/expected specs are the OLED round display, ColorOS full intelligent system, ECG electrocardiogram, 60 seconds health check, wrist temperature measurement, exercise monitoring, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC, and great waterproof capabilities. To add, a 648mAh battery variant has also been revealed, likely for the Watch X2 Pro model (assuming). OPPO’s Enco X3s earbuds device was also previously spotted on the TDRA certification database, however, nothing about its specs were revealed.

The OnePlus Watch 3 and OnePlus Watch 3 Pro models are also believed to be in works, and these are reportedly going to be re-branded as the next OPPO Watch X2 series models, just like the OPPO Watch X which came as the re-branded version of the OnePlus Watch 2. Also, the expected OPPO Watch X2 series launch is tipped to take place in Q1 2025, early this year.
