Samsung Galaxy M15 5G Now in Tests With Android 15 Based One UI 7; Spotted on Geekbench

Samsung, the South Korean consumer electronics maker, is soon going to conduct the first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year on the 22nd of January 2025, and many much-awaited products from the brand are going to have their debut. The latest One UI 7 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system is also set to have its official release this month, and the beta program is currently ongoing for the flagship Galaxy S24-series smartphones.

Speaking more, apart from the Galaxy S24-series beta program, the brand has already tested some of its other Galaxy smartphone/tablet models with the Android 15 based One UI 7, and this includes the Galaxy Tab S8-series, Galaxy A53 5G, and Galaxy S21 FE 5G, among others. While these models may not get any beta updates, they are confirmed to receive the official stable version directly.

Now, as we approach the One UI 7 release date, the brand’s Galaxy M15 5G smartphone has also again been spotted on the Geekbench database, running on the Android 15 operating system, with obviously the One UI 7 custom skin on top. Read more about the update below.

Samsung Galaxy M15 5G – Geekbench Listing With Android 15 x One UI 7

The Samsung Galaxy M15 5G device (4G RAM variant) with model number – ‘SM-M156B’, featuring the Android 15 based One UI 7, has appeared on the Geekbench database, and has attained 691 points and 1906 points respectively on the single-core and multi-core tests. As mentioned, while the Galaxy M15 5G may not get any beta updates, the official stable version of the One UI 7 custom skin is now confirmed to be rolled out to the device, as per the brand’s roll-out schedule.

Just to add, the tipster who has shared this update has also pointed out in the comments section that the Galaxy M35 5G device will also be receiving the One UI 7 official stable version, possibly in the month of March 2025.

More updates can still be expected in the coming days regarding the One UI 7 custom skin as well as the devices that are eligible to receive it. Furthermore, the brand has already released the One UI 7 beta 3 update to Galaxy S24 series models, followed by a few more features for these devices.
