Alleged Oppo A5 (PKQ110) spotted on Tenaa and MIIT certifications, design and specs revealed
While we have been discussing the upcoming Find X8 Ultra and Find N5 Flip, a new smartphone with the model number “PKQ110” has been spotted on the Chinese TENAA and MIIT certifications. Through TENAA, some key specifications have been revealed, while the design has been detailed on MIIT.
Looking at the design, it shares many similarities with the recently released Oppo A5 Pro(China). Following tradition, Oppo first launched the Oppo A3 Pro and then the A3, so the same could happen here. The images reveal a dark purple colour with a circular camera deco featuring three cutouts for the camera sensors and one for the LED flash.
As per the TENAA certification, it has been revealed that the smartphone will feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2412×1080 pixels and a colour depth of 1.073 billion. The body dimensions are listed as 161.57×74.47×7.65 mm, with a weight of 185 grams. The CPU will have 8 cores with a base frequency of 2.2GHz, although the specific chipset is not mentioned. The device will offer two RAM options, 8GB and 12GB, along with two internal storage options, 256GB and 512GB.
The battery is listed with a capacity of 6330mAh. The rear camera setup will include a 50MP primary and 2MP secondary sensor, while the front-facing selfie camera will be 8MP. Other features revealed through the TENAA certification include a gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor, under-screen fingerprint recognition, and face recognition.
Now that the smartphone has appeared on these certifications, we may expect some announcement from Oppo soon.
