Sachin Tendulkar congratulated Thalaiva Rajinikanth for receiving Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu honored Tamil superstar Rajinikanth with the coveted Dadasaheb Phalke Award on Monday, as well as a slew of other film stars, including Dhanush, Priyadarshan, Resul Pookutty, Manoj Bajpayee, and Kangana Ranaut, with National Film Awards. The 67th National Film Awards, which were postponed owing to the coronavirus pandemic, were announced in March of this year.
Naidu said he was pleased that regional films topped the list of prize winners, which was finally held in a physical format after a two-year delay.
