Camon 40 4G and Camon 40 Pro 4G – New Listings

As mentioned both the Camon 40 4G (CM5) and Camon 40 Pro 4G (CM6) models have now been listed on the Google Play Console database, and it is their 8GB RAM variant that has been spotted. Both the smartphones are revealed with similar specs such as the Android 15 OS, MediaTek processor, ARM Mali G57 GPU, and 1080 x 2436 pixels resolution display.

Speaking more, this MediaTek chipset carries the model number – ‘MT6789’ with a core configuration consisting of two ARM Cortex-A76 cores (2.20 GHz) and six ARM Cortex A55 cores (2.00 GHz). Even if the chip code corresponds to the Helio G99 (and Helio G99 Ultimate), the two devices would probably arrive equipped with the Helio G100 chip (or may be the Helio G100 Ultimate as per reports).

Moreover, the front look image of the Camon 40 4G model has been revealed via the Google Play Console listing. The device is pointed out to feature a flat display screen with a centrally-aligned punch-hole selfie camera along with thin bezels. However, the chin appears to be slightly thicker. Also, at the right, the volume rocker and power button can be found, while an alert slider seems to be added at the left side panel. Just to note, unlike the Camon 40 4G, the Camon 40 Pro 4G is probably going to have a dual-curved display.

Also, the Camon 40 Pro 4G previously surfaced on the TUV Rheinland database with a 5100 mAh Li-ion polymer battery. Now, the Camon 40 4G has also been listed on the certification database. It has been certified with the certificate number of ‘JPTUV-169141’ and is pointed out to pack the same 5100 mAh capacity Li-ion polymer battery. The device will also have class III protection, meaning it has a protective design and low voltage.

About other previous updates, the Camon 40 Pro 4G has also appeared on the SIRIM certification database as well. There are two other models too in Tecno’s Camon 40 series – Camon 40 Pro 5G and Camon 40 Premier 5G. Both of them have received the EEC certification, whereas the Camon 40 Premier also was certified by the FCC authority. The real-life images and key specs of the Camon 40 Premier 5G was also leaked online, while the Camon 40 Pro 5G has been listed on the Geekbench database.
