Dogecoin Core 1.14.5 update released, here is what you can expect

This is a new minor version release that includes critical security upgrades and network policy modifications. It is strongly advised that all Dogecoin Core users, miners, services, relay operators, and wallet users upgrade.

This release can be put over an existing 1.14 installation without having to remove, re-index, or re-download anything. Simply stop Dogecoin-QT or dogecoin from running, install the software, and restart your node.

Security Updates That Are Critical

This update addresses two high-severity vulnerabilities that affect the majority of Dogecoin Core users:

In Dogecoin QT, remote code execution is possible (CVE-2021-3401)

On Unix platforms, there is a risk of sensitive data being exposed (CVE-2019-15947)

Users of the Dogecoin QT (Graphical User Interface) on all platforms, as well as wallet users on Linux, are recommended to update to this version as soon as possible to avoid criminal actors from abusing these vulnerabilities.
Reductions in fees
Following the decrease of relay and mining defaults in 1.14.4, this release finalizes a new minimum fee suggestion for all Dogecoin network members. The following are the suggested minimum costs when creating transactions with this release:

The proposed minimum transaction cost is 0.01 DOGE/kb, and the recommended dust limit is 1 DOGE, with a 0.001 DOGE RBF increase.
