On YouTube, gaming is a popular genre. There’s a natural connection between playing a video game and then watching others show off their gaming ability. As a result, it’s no surprise that there are a lot of gaming influencers on YouTube.
We just published an article discussing the current boom of eSports. While the majority of people watch these games live on Twitch, gamers like uploading films to their YouTube channels remembering past highlights and making predictions for future battles.
The most major inspiration, though, is a classic game from the 1990s called Minecraft. Many of the most popular YouTube channels are dedicated to Minecraft modifications and show you inside the game. Surprisingly, the most ardent followers of these videos were not even alive when Minecraft was initially released.
You might argue that PewDiePie is the most popular gamer of them all; he built a reputation for himself by making videos of himself playing games and commenting on them. He has, however, progressed since then. A gaming theme appears in only a few of his recent videos.
1. VanossGaming
Evan Fong, a 25-year-old Canadian, runs the gaming channel VanossGaming.
The majority Evan’s videos mainly include him playing a game with other YouTubers. “Vanoss and a bunch of buddies conversing, joking, and cracking jokes over gaming from famous titles such as Grand Theft Auto V or Call of Duty: World at War,” according to the Canadian Press.
Since 2011, VanossGaming has been uploading videos and has risen to the top 20 YouTube channels.
Evan Fong has also dabbled with music, hosting the Rynx music channel.
2. Markiplier
Mark Fischbach, a native of Hawaii who now lives in California, runs Markiplier.
He like “Let’s Play” gaming videos, in which he utilises the video to chronicle his game playtime. He favours a boisterous, unrestrained style of comments.
Through his films, he projects an energetic, larger-than-life picture. Wilfred Warf Stache, replete with a pink moustache, is a character he appears as on occasion. He colours his hair in vivid hues on a regular basis.
He favours indie and horror games, such as the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise.
Markiplier is well-known for doing live charity broadcasts in which he collects money while playing video games.
He’s presently a member of Polaris, a Maker Studios sub-network.
3. Jacksepticeye
Sean William McLoughlin, better known as Jackseptic eye, is proud of his Irish heritage. Sean’s gaming channel, like his hair, has a green motif. In each of his films, he starts by stating, “To you, ladies, a good morning! Jacksepticeye is my name! “with a thick Irish brogue
In 2012, he started uploading gaming videos on YouTube. In 2013, PewDiePie took notice of him and mentioned him in a video. His Jacksepticeye channel’s popularity skyrocketed as a result of this.
He also enjoys “Let’s Play” videos, in which he provides commentary while playing a video game.
He uploads a handful of videos every day, albeit not all of them are about gaming. A lot of them concentrate on the life of a gamer.
4. DanTDM
Daniel Middleton (aka DanTDM) is a YouTuber from England. Since its inception in 2012, Dan’s channel has evolved. He dubbed it The Diamond Minecart at first (thus the TDM in the channel’s current moniker). His primary audience at the time was youngsters aged 5 to 10.
The majority of his videos were Dan playing various Minecraft modifications, as the name implied. He discovered that Minecraft had so much user-generated content that he could produce films full-time, with enough variety to keep his young audience engaged.
In 2016, he modified his channel to include a variety of additional games. He was also aware that his audience was maturing.
5.PopularMMOs
PopularMMOs is a channel dedicated to popular Minecraft modifications, as the name implies. Patrick Brown, who is married to Jennifer Flagg, a fellow YouTube player, manages it (who runs the GamingWithJen channel).
Patrick is definitely passionate about Minecraft and its modifications. Minecraft Mob Battles and Arena Battles, Epic Modded Let’s Plays, Mod Showcases, and Minecraft Mods Vs. Maps are all featured on his channel.
Jen appears in a lot of the videos. The duo has amassed a cast of personas that they use in their videos. Captain Cookie, Captain Cookie Junior, Bellie, The Disguised Man, Carter, Jelly Bean, and a slew of others are among them.
Pat also has a second channel, PatVsTheWorld, where he engages in challenges against fans.
