Elon Musk took a dig at Finland’s Prime Minister Sanna Marin for Clubbing out in the night

Sanna Marin, Finland’s Prime Minister, has apologized for going clubbing after meeting a COVID-19 positive patient.

Marin received backlash after it was revealed that she went out on Saturday, just hours after her foreign minister, Pekka Haavisto, tested positive for the virus.

Fully vaccinated citizens are not compelled to self-isolate if they come into touch with a positive person, but it is recommended that they avoid social interaction and undergo testing, according to Finland’s Covid guidelines.

After a local magazine released images of the prime minister attending a Helsinki nightclub with friends on Saturday, the 36-year-old was lambasted by critics.

The Prime Minister, who has taken two doses of COVID-19 shots, first defended her actions, claiming that she had followed her Secretary of State’s recommendations.

Elon  Musk never wants to be left behind, so that is why he shared a meme of Sana Marin on Twitter.

But, in a Facebook post on Monday, she apologised for her blunder and stated that she should have double-checked the numbers.

“On Saturday evening, I should have exercised greater judgement and double-checked the instructions I had received,” Marin said, adding that she had gotten contradictory advise on her official work phone.

“I apologise for not recognising that this was not the right way to act,” she said.

Since then, the Social Democrat leader’s COVID-19 test has come back negative.
