On Monday, Elon Musk was named the Person of the Year 2021 by Time Magazine to which some felt like he didn’t deserve it and also expressed their disappointment on Twitter. Elon Musk, is always seen taking a tussle with those who attack him on social media handles.
Yesterday, Democratic Senator from Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren took to Twitter to attack Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk pointing towards his act of not paying extra taxes.
Warren tweeted, “Let’s change the rigged tax code so The Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else.” Elon Musk replied to it in a series of tweets which are gaining a lot of attention today, he even referred to her to be like his “friend’s angry mom”.
Musk couldn’t unnotice her harsh words and made some hilarious, trolling and slamming tweets. He first asked her to “Stop projecting” with a Fox News opinion piece from 2019 in which she was proved fake claiming her native American ancestry.
Then he mocked her by tweeting, “You remind me of when I was a kid and my friend’s angry Mom would just randomly yell at everyone for no reason.”
Elon Musk never fails to amuse his audience and gain a lot of attention. His jokes and trolling are really cool and attract the audience towards him. But, this does not end here. He then trolled her by using slang Karen which is referred to a middle-aged white woman who is angry and entitled.
According to Pro Publica’s report, the richest man of the world Elon Musk paid no federal income tax in 2018 and paid $65000 in 2017 and only $68000 in 2015. Musk believes that paying tax is a wastage of money as it can be put to better and more productive purposes.
But still he is maybe going to pay high taxes in the coming year. He said in another tweet today, “And if you opened your eyes for 2 seconds, you would realize I will pay more taxes than any American in history this year.”
The last tweet replying to her was also in a joking way. He tweeted, “Don’t spend it all at once … oh wait you did.”
The Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren has not replied to him yet. Elon Musk last month also had a Twitter spat with Senator Bernier Sanders over taxes.
