PM Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of Ganga Expressway in UP, Check it Out!
The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi is going to lay the foundation stone of the Ganga Expressway in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh at 1 PM on Saturday. The UP government has stated that it will be the longest Expressway in UP built for 36, 200 crores.
The Prime Minister has invested to provide fast-paced connectivity across the large country with the 594-kilometre long six-land expressway.
The expressway will pass through Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareily, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj to reach near the Judapur Dandu village in Prayagraj beginning from Bijauli village in Meerut.
It will connect the western and eastern parts of UP and will also have an industrial corridor. One more amazing feature will be the construction of a 3.5 km long airstrip for enabling emergency take-off and landing of the Air Force planes.
It will boost the social and economic development of the state and will lead to the growth of different sectors like trade, agriculture, industry etc.
Moreover, it will feature a 3.75-metre wide service road for better facilities for nearby living residents. It will reduce the time of travelling for people several times.
The expressway will also lead to the development of nine public convenience centres, seven railway overbridges, 14 major and 126 minor bridges as well as 381 underpasses on the expressway. The construction of the Ganga Expressway was approved on November 26, 2020 and will be completed by 2024.
Ahead of UP state elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government is contributing to its development initiatives and promises for the state.
