In October, through the Pandora paper leak, many of the world’s famous people and politicians were exposed to hiding assets abroad. In these there were 1.2 crore documents. Baba Ramdev had said in May that lakhs of people died due to allopathy. He called Allopathy a ‘Stupid Science‘. - Lakhimpur: Minister’s son crushed the farmers
When Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar reached an event in Lakhimpur on October 3, 8 people including 4 farmers were killed in the violence that broke out there. During this, 2 car crushed the farmers and went away.
- Election Law Amendment Bill
The Election Law Amendment Bill 2021 was passed in Parliament in December. Now to prevent duplication and fake voting in voter list, voter card and Aadhar card will be join with the voter list.
- WhatsApp : New Privacy Policy
WhatsApp issued privacy policy on 4th January. The deadline was fixed till May 15, the protest did not stop and the policy was cancelled.
- New Rules for OTT
New guidelines issued for OTT platform and social media platform in February. According to which these platforms will have to remove any emergency content complaint within 24 hours.
- Domicile Certificate
It was mandatory to stay here for 15 years to get the domicile certificate in Jammu and Kashmir. Now a woman or a man who is married to a person who is having a domicile certificate will also be eligible for domicile.
- proposal to increase the age of marriage to 21
The age of marriage of girls in the country can be raised from 18 to 21 years. - Fastag Made mandatory
