In the second Test, KL Rahul determined that India would bat and Jasprit Bumrah would be his deputy. Kohli’s physiotherapy is currently underway.

Sadly, Virat has had an upper back spasm, the physios are treating him to make sure he recovers for the next Test, he said.

Rahul, who won the man-of-the-match award in the first Test, has also been named captain for the ODI series against South Africa, while Rohit Sharma is still recovering.

Virat Kohli was replaced by Hanuma Vihari, according to KL Rahul.
