Klein Vision’s transforming AirCar get certified for flight

Klein Vision’s transforming AirCar has been certified by the Civil Aviation Division of the Transport Authority of Slovakia.

It was at the end of the year 2020 when Klein Vision made the maiden flight, followed by an inter-city flight in June 2020 between Nitra and Bratislava airports. Now recently it has been finally certified for flight by the Transport Authority of Slovakia.

Klein Vision AirCar prototype is a two-seater car that can fly too, designed by Professor Stefan Klein and made in Slovakia.

From the 1980s onwards Stefen Klein started working on flying cars. In 2016, Stefen Klein left from AiroMobil(air mobility company) to start with a new idea as AirCar, which ultimately established Klein Vision in collaboration with his colleague Anton Zajac.

The AirCar has completed more than 70 hours of flight testing to European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards which also includes 200 takeoffs and landings on cross-country trips.

“Transportation Authority carefully monitored all stages of unique AirCar development from its start in 2017,” said René Molnár, director of the Civil Aviation Division of the Transport Authority of Slovakia. ” The Transportation safety is our highest priority. AirCar combines top innovations with safety measures in line with EASA standards. It defines a new category of a sports car and a reliable aircraft. Its certification was both a challenging and fascinating task.” – as per sources reported.

“AirCar certification opens the door for mass production of very efficient flying cars,” said the Klein Vision, and the AirCar’s test pilot, Professor Stefan Klein. “It is official and the final confirmation of our ability to change mid-distance travel forever.” – as per sources.
