Attractive features of new iOS 15.4 beta 1

Apple lately launched the new iOS 15.4 beta 1 which has many attractive features in it. The numerous features are listed below:

  • Face ID while wearing a mask: This feature allows the user to unlock their iPhone while wearing a mask. The only thing that the user has to do is to scan his face for the Face ID without wearing the mask and then toggle the ‘Use Face ID with a Mask’ option. There is also an option for those who wear glasses. They just have to choose the ‘Add Glasses’ option.
  • New auth screen when invoking Apple Pay before unlocking: Earlier in iPhones, double-pressing the side button would reveal the items stored in an Apple wallet. There was no authentication. Apple has corrected this. Now, one has to need the Face ID or passcode for unlocking to view the wallet.
  • Add notes to keychain passwords: After the two-factor authentication feature, iOS offers to add notes to keychain passwords. We can also search these passwords in the search box.
  • New emojis: iOS 15.4 adds 37 emojis and 75 skin tones which totals 112. The new emojis include the new peeking face, heart hands, tears of joy, and many more.
  • Apple wallet widget: There is an Apple Card widget that can be added to the Home screen. This feature calculates how much time the user is spending on a particular app and displays it in the form of a graph.
  • Run Shortcut Automation without notifications: There’s a new option “Notify when run” which enables us to toggle notifications for shortcuts that are on or off.
  • Select camera app in Magnifier app: The new iOS has provided two new camera modes. Now the users have access to auto, telephoto, macro, and selfie cameras.
  • Reset Safari Experimental features: There is now a way to reset all the Safari settings to default with only one tapConfigure if one has messed up with all the settings.
  • Configure App Store notifications: iOS has offered a new notifications panel in the App Store that has the ‘New features and Updates’ and ‘Recommendations and Offers’ option.
  • iCloud mail preferences consolidation: Previous version of iOS had an option to enable/disable iCloud mail. But this version has the toggle merged with the iCloud Mail settings.
  • New custom Email Domain UI in iCloud settings: Apple has shifted its iCloud+ custom email domain UI into Cloud Mail settings.
  • Disable iCloud.com access: This option disables the iCloud.com access for mail, calendar, photos, etc.
