Kolkata Knight Riders have released there captain from the past year, Eoin Morgan. He is an English batsman. He was the captain of the team. Though, after releasing him, the team needed a captain. They have bought Shreyas Iyer for 12.25 crores. He becomes the highest selling player in the auction so far. Shreyas Iyer has been the captain and is expected to captain for Kolkata Knight Riders this year.
