Pacer Prasidh Krishna picked up just 12 wickets from his 10 appearances during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Since then, the 25-year-old has been released by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and was available at the IPL auction in 2022. He impressed the franchises and the viewers by outstanding performance in the West Indies ODI series held in India.
As Krishna, who had a decent outing in the first match, kept probing the West Indian batting order with his pace and length in a show of precision and skill, he was the pick of the bowlers. Captain Rohit Sharma who leads India in the ODI and t20 series was in awe of his spell.
