Early on Monday, French President, Emmanuel Macron reports that Russia and US are ready to negotiate over Ukraine crisis. However, later as the day develops, Russian president Vladimir Putin puts forward his conditions and clarifies some of Russia’s actions.
What are the Russian moves so far in the Ukraine crisis?
On Monday, Russia and Belarus deploy large scale military on the border of two regions of separatist groups in eastern Ukraine. Russia recognises them as independent.
Further, Russia denies to have plans to attack Ukraine for any possible invasion. However, it has not specified on military actions that it might take should it not be guaranteed security. Moreover, it demands that Ukraine should never join NATO.

Chinese FM, Wang Yi expresses concerns over the ‘worsening’ situation between Ukraine and Russia. It expects nations to resolve differences through dialogues. It adds that any country’s legitimate security concerns deserve respect.
Although, so far Chinese embassy in Ukraine have not issued any notice to Chinese nationals in Ukraine to return to China. However, it asks its citizens to avoid unstable regions.
Further, that China is keeping a close look at the situation.
Wang Yi adds that US should not include Taiwan in Indo-pacific strategy. As China claims Taiwan to be its territory. While, US vows to work for peace and stability in Indo-pacific region.
On a contrary, Taiwan has been requesting an unimpeded supply of weapons from US to face China’s intimidations.
