Switching to renewables with batteries would avoid blackouts, says Elon Musk

According to  The Washington Post, the critics claimed that complete switching to renewable energy, such as wind mil and solar power, fossil fuels could avoid future electricity blackouts.

A study by Standford University has counted, which shows that the switching for renewable alternative energy sources and completely dropping the use of fossil fuel, would lead to remarkably reduced energy demand and avoid events like the Texas blackout. Considering that climate change is upon us and that all use of fossil fuel worsens the situation, it might be a good alternative. If Musk has even a small chance of being right, it is worth considering the options.

The CEO Elon Musk commented over the Fox News which has the article of The Washington Post, he says, “Switching to renewables with batteries would avoid blackouts. Batteries are essential, due to the intermittent nature of renewables”

Many critics are saying that the reason Musk is focusing on renewable energy is for his own profits. Today the generation of electricity is a complete link to its consumption, Musk wants to sell you a battery, solar panel and he doesn’t care much about whether you drive an electric car.

We have to wait and watch to see if it will be possible to totally use renewable energies!
